End-papers can be just as wonderful as the book itself.  I will share some great End-papers from old books in this category. As always this and all images are in the public domain or copyright free. Enjoy

This is not an end-paper, but it is a bonus illustration by Beardsley that I thought was absolutely worth sharing.

Public Domain Photography Spotlight: AltPhotos.com

public domain photo of Ho Chi Minh City
Suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Top View – Just one of the amazing photographs released into the public domain

I found this incredible photo at AltPhotos.com

At the time of this blog entry, AltPhotos.com has 3,124 photographs on their website. Each photo is tagged very well so that you can find what you need quickly. As you scroll down on the first page, you are immediately aware that you are not at a typical stock photo site.

There is a clear difference between stock photo sites that pump out quantity and photography sites that offer works of art that have been generously released into the public domain. Every once in a while I will randomly pull one of them off the list to let you know why it’s there. Plus it gives me a reason to consume massive amounts of beautiful imagery on a regular basis. Great prescription! Enjoy.
